What remains after perception collapses.
What remains after perception collapses.

Project Statement
Residual Presence investigates painting as a condition of unstable perception rather than representation. Across five works, fragmented figures emerge through processes of erosion, compression and material interference, oscillating between visibility and disappearance. Working with acrylic, foam and layered synthetic materials, the project treats the painted surface as a residual field shaped by pressure, collapse and transformation.

Ongoing Research
Residual Presence develops through ongoing material experimentation focused on erosion, fragmentation and unstable visibility. The project investigates how pressure, accumulation and interference can transform painted surface into perceptual residues suspended between appearance and collapse.
